On Sunday, July 11 2021 Mary Lee Anderson (Riendfleisch) loving mother of two children passed away at age 68 due to complications of cancer. Mary was born November 11, 1952 to Paul Rudolph Reindfleish and Beverly Joanne Swank in Johnstown Pennsylvania. After High school Mary enlisted in the United States Air Force, where she served 4 years of service, and met Jack Alan Anderson whom she married. Mary completed her Associates Degree after the Air Force. Mary and Jack had two sons Ashley Oakes Anderson & Kevin Berkley Anderson. Mary notably worked for the Georgia Department of Public Safety as a systems programmer. Mary’s programming career ultimately took her to Primerica in 1997 where she worked as a Lead Application Developer. While Mary was an amazing intelligent programmer her true passion was art. She particularly found great joy in studying and drawing macaque monkeys. Mary was also a black belt in Taj-Jitsu Karate. Mary was preceded in death by her father, Paul, and her mother, Beverly. She is survived by her children, Ashley and Kevin, sisters Peggy and Joyce, brother Roger, a niece, three nephews, and five grandchildren. Mary’s final wish was to be cremated without a public service, and to have her ashes spread in Key West, Florida . Mary was a loving mother that would do anything for her children. She will be greatly missed.
Mary had a deep love for macaque monkeys, and would have loved to help those monkeys in need. Please consider donating at https://www.savingmonkeys.org/donate/.
